Using DocDiff

You may use DocDiff only for lawful purposes and only with documents you are authorized to upload and process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and secure report links.

Not professional advice

DocDiff is an information tool, not a law firm, inspection service, financial adviser, or substitute for qualified professional review. AI and automated comparison systems can miss, misread, or misclassify changes. Verify important findings against the cited source documents before acting.

Your content

You retain ownership of your documents. You grant DocDiff the permission needed to store, parse, compare, and process them to provide the service, maintain security, and resolve support issues. For documents submitted through the free service, this permission also includes using the documents and resulting comparisons to evaluate, improve, and develop DocDiff’s parsing, comparison, and AI systems. Paid content is not used for product-training datasets without separate permission.

Purchases and subscriptions

Prices, page limits, comparison allowances, renewal periods, and included features are shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Stripe handles cards, invoices, cancellation, and plan management through the billing portal. Canceling prevents future renewal; your reports remain available for up to three years after the subscription ends. One-time purchases remain available for up to three years, except where required by law or sooner deletion is requested.

30-day money-back guarantee

Every paid DocDiff purchase includes a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, contact [email protected] within 30 days of the charge to request a full refund. You may cancel a subscription at any time to stop future renewals. Cancellation does not delete reports that are still within their stated retention period.

Acceptable use

You may not upload malicious files, probe or disrupt the service, evade usage controls, access another person’s reports, violate third-party rights, or use DocDiff to facilitate unlawful or harmful activity.

Service availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict access to protect users or the service. We do not guarantee that every document can be parsed or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocDiff is provided without implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made without independently reviewing the source documents. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
